Cold & warm tap water
Cold and warm tap water are controlled by a lever on the mixer tap. The spout is swivelling, and the spray head for tap water has a switch button to change the type of spray. Both water outlets should always be positioned above the bowl or sink to prevent water damage.
Filtered water operation
- Filtered water is dispensed via a separate outlet on the mixer tap.
- The side touch sensor on the filtered water control unit starts and stops the flow.
- Start–stop: touch the sensor for more than 1 sec. to dispense filtered water; releasing the sensor stops the water.
- Start–stop and auto–stop: touch the sensor for less than 1 sec. to dispense the selected amount of filtered water in millilitres.
- The automatic flow of water can be stopped at any time by touching the side sensor again.
- Both water outlets should always be positioned above the bowl or sink to prevent water damage.
Changing the filter cartridge
- The filter needs to be changed when it has exhausted its capacity, but after 12 months at the latest.
- If filtered water is drawn and the LED display flashes blue and red at the same time, a change of filter is necessary.
- Unscrew the old filter cartridge and take it to a recycling point.
- Screw in the new filter cartridge and let at least 10 litres of filtered water run unused into the drain.
- Reset the control unit by pressing and holding DISPLAY/RESET for 3 seconds.
- Mark the year and month on the cartridge.
Changing the filter head
- The filter head must be changed after a maximum of 60 months.
- Flip up the old filter, pull it out diagonally upwards and take it to a recycling point.
- Insert the new filter head at the same angle from above until it engages and tilts downward.
- Mark the year and month on the filter head.
Setting the filter capacity
- After changing the filter cartridge, the filter capacity must be reset on the control box.
- Press DISPLAY/RESET for more than 3 seconds until the first digit on the display is flashing.
- Read the filter capacity from the Filter capacity section in the filter documents and enter the figure manually using DISPLAY/RESET to increase the number and PROG to confirm and move to the next digit.
- After entering the final number, press PROG; the setting is confirmed and complete.
- For filters with ion exchange technology, the local water hardness is required to determine the correct filter capacity; central water softening can change the value for the household.
Safety and suitability
- The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over, and by people with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, provided they have been instructed and understand the risks.
- Children may not play with the appliance; cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Opening system components or the power supply unit is not permitted; maintenance work may only be carried out by trained technicians.
- The power cord must be laid so that it cannot be damaged; damaged cables or plugs must be replaced by a specialist.
- The system must be installed in a frost-proof location; freezing components can lead to damage.
- When using a filter with an ion exchanger to reduce limescale, the water in the filter is enriched with sodium and can cause issues for babies or people sensitive to sodium; if necessary, consult a doctor.
- Any use beyond what is intended, or use for other purposes, is considered misuse; BLANCO accepts no liability for damage resulting from misuse.
Cleaning
Do not use abrasive or chlorinated cleaning products to clean the surfaces. It is recommended to use BLANCO DailyClean (item no. 526305) to clean the mixer tap. This can be ordered in the BLANCO online shop or via the relevant BLANCO webshop mentioned for your country.
Disposal and environment
At the end of its service life, the product and its electronic accessory parts must not be disposed of with normal household or commercial waste. They should be taken to appropriate collection or recycling points in line with local regulations, to prevent harm to the environment or human health and to support sustainable recycling of resources.
