Lacanche range cookers are among the most distinctive kitchen appliances available anywhere in the world. Made entirely by hand in the village of Lacanche in Burgundy, France — where the company has manufactured cookers since 1796 — each Lacanche is assembled to order, with a choice of oven and hob configurations, gas or induction cooking, and an extensive palette of enamel colours and trim finishes.
The result is a cooker that is simultaneously a precision cooking instrument and a centrepiece of kitchen design. Lacanche cookers are available in widths from 1000mm to 2200mm and can be configured with combinations of gas burners, induction zones, electric plancha, and electric Fry-Top surfaces, alongside one or two oven cavities. Colour options range from classic whites and blacks to deep reds, navy blues, and bespoke shades.
Woodalls is an authorised Lacanche dealer, supplying range cookers to homeowners, interior designers, and architects across London and North West London. Our showroom at 1053–1055 Finchley Road, NW11 is the place to discuss Lacanche configurations, colour choices, and kitchen integration requirements with our specialists.
As Lacanche cookers are made to order in France, lead times are typically 8 to 16 weeks from order, depending on the model and specification. Woodalls works closely with designers and contractors to ensure Lacanche cookers are ordered at the right point in the project timeline.
The investment in a Lacanche range cooker is substantial, but the longevity of the product is equally so. Many Lacanche owners regard their cooker as a kitchen fixture for life — the cast-iron and hand-finished enamel construction ages gracefully, and the mechanical simplicity of the cooking systems makes them straightforward to maintain and service.
