What type of cooktop is the BORA BHU?

It is a radiant cooktop with four radiant cooking zones, combined with an integrated cooktop extractor in a compact cooktop extractor system.

How does the recirculation system work?

The model uses an integrated odour filter with activated charcoal and ion exchanger. Air is drawn in through the extractor, cleaned by the filter and guided via the BORA Ecotube duct connection in recirculation mode.

What is the maximum service life of the filter?

The maximum filter service life is 150 hrs, which corresponds to 1 year. The unit includes a filter service display to indicate when service is due.

What installation options are available?

The cooktop can be installed flush or as a surface-mounted unit in a kitchen cabinet with a minimum width of 80 cm. Sufficient ventilation below the cooktop must be ensured, and the mains supply cable is to be provided on site.

What safety features are included?

The system features a child lock, residual heat indicator, safety shut-down and overheating protection. Further safety and warning information is provided in the operating and installation instructions.

What are the power levels of the cooktop and extractor?

The cooktop offers power levels from 1 to 9 plus a power setting P. The cooktop extractor has power levels 1, 2 and P.

Recirculation

The BORA BHU is a compact cooktop extractor system that combines a radiant cooktop with an integrated recirculation extractor. It offers four radiant cooking zones, including a Hyper cooking zone with up to 50% higher performance on the power setting. With simple central touch controls, stainless steel grease filter and activated charcoal odour filter, it is designed for effective extraction, low volume operation and easy cleaning in kitchen units from 80 cm wide.
