Can this cooker hood be used in recirculation mode?

Yes. The hood is suitable for ducted or recirculating operation. For recirculation, a Clean Air Plus recirculation kit is needed as an accessory. In recirculation operation, chimless use is also possible using the appropriate kit.

What is the maximum extraction rate of the DWK87FN60B?

The maximum air extraction in normal operation is 431 m³/h. In boost position air extraction, the hood can reach up to 768 m³/h. In recirculation mode with the Clean Air Plus kit and chimney installation, intensive speed can achieve 724 m³/h.

How noisy is the hood during use?

In exhaust mode, the noise level is 39 dB(A) re 1pW at speed 1, 48 dB(A) re 1pW at speed 2, and 56 dB(A) re 1pW at speed 3. In intensive exhaust mode, the noise level is 68 dB(A) re 1pW.

Is the Bosch DWK87FN60B compatible with Home Connect?

Yes. The hood includes Home Connect digital features, allowing you to operate, monitor and set preferences via smartphone or tablet in countries where Home Connect service is available. It also supports hob based hood control, Smart Hood Automatic, Performance Profiles, lighting adjustment, filter indicators and software updates via a connected account.

How do I clean the filters and surfaces?

The hood has a large opening angle glass plate with a locking function for easy filter access. The two metal grease filters are removable and dishwasher-safe. Smooth surfaces and materials are designed to be easy to clean. Filter saturation indications and reset functions are available via the Home Connect App.

What are the minimum installation heights above the hob?

The minimum distance above an electric hob is 450 mm, and above a gas hob is 650 mm. Dimensions for exhaust and recirculation installations are provided for planning, including overall height ranges and a 150 mm air outlet diameter.
