Cooking zones and power

• FlexInduction zone: cookware of any shape or size can be used anywhere within the 40 cm long zone.
• Front left zone: 180 mm, 2 kW (max. power 3.1 kW).
• Rear left zone: 145 mm, 1.6 kW (max. power 2.2 kW).
• Middle zone: 240 mm, 2.5 kW (max. power 3.7 kW).
• Rear right zone: 200 mm, 210 mm, 2.2 kW (max. power 3.7 kW).
• Front right zone: 200 mm, 210 mm, 2.2 kW (max. power 3.7 kW).

Usage convenience

• Favourite Button for direct access to favourite functions (with connected Home Connect account).
• Keep warm function via Home Connect app/MyButton at a preset low power level.
• Switch–off timer that turns off a zone at the end of the set time (for example for boiled eggs).
• Alternative timer mode with an acoustic alarm at the end of the set time (for example for pasta).
• Sound volume can be adapted to personal preference and needs.

Time saving and efficiency

• PowerBoost function for all zones for faster boiling.
• Pan Boost selectable via Favourite button/Home Connect app (for appliances connected to Home Connect account).
• Automatic connection of two zones into one large continuous zone when large cookware is placed on the Flex zone.
• Automatic setting transfer when moving cookware to another zone.
• Automatic zone selection when new cookware is placed on the hob.
• Instant setting adjustment on the Flex zone when moving a pot; the zone adapts to the size of the cookware.
• QuickStart function: on switching on, the hob automatically selects the zone with cookware already placed.
• ReStart function: restores all previous settings if the hob is unintentionally switched off and switched on again within 4 seconds.

Cooking assistance and connectivity

• 11 frying levels with automatic temperature regulation using the integrated sensor.
• Dish assistant to find suitable temperature settings for certain dishes via the Home Connect app.
• Home Connect for remote checking, recipes and additional functions.
• Hob Hood Control with Wi–Fi enabled hood for automatic hood activation.
• Smart Hood Automatic: hood fan speed automatically adapts using hob cooking data (with matching hood and connected Home Connect account).
• MyButton opens access to partner services from the cooktop.
• Updateable appliance via connected Home Connect account for the latest software status.

Safety features

• 2 stage residual heat indicator for each zone.
• Control panel lock to help prevent unintended activation.
• Pause function to temporarily pause the heating process.
• Main on/off switch to switch off all zones at the touch of a button.
• Automatic safety shut off: heating stops after a preset time if not used.

Installation notes

The hob is designed for built–in installation with a minimum worktop thickness of 16 mm and requires a niche size of 51 x 750 x 490–500 mm. A ventilation gap must be present according to the dimensional drawings. Power management options allow configuration for 16 A, 13 A or 10 A connections, depending on the fuse protection of the electrical installation.
