In air extraction mode at output level 3 and Intensive, the sound power levels are 56 / 70 dB(A) re 1 pW. In air recirculation mode at level 3 and Intensive, they are 63 / 72 dB(A) re 1 pW. In normal mode, the sound level ranges from a minimum of 41 dB to a maximum of 56 dB.

What is the recommended distance between the cooktop and the ceiling ventilation?

For optimum extraction performance, the maximum distance between the cooktop and the ventilation appliance is 120 cm. When the distance is greater than 120 cm, the unit functions primarily as room ventilation because direct capture of vapours is limited.

Which clearances are required for gas and electric appliances?

The minimum clearance above gas appliances is 65 cm, increasing to 70 cm if the total gas load exceeds 12 kW. The minimum clearance above electric appliances is 65 cm.

Does the AC250121 support smart control?

Yes. The AC250121 features an integrated WiFi module and supports selected Gaggenau Home Connect digital services, including cooktop-based ventilation control with a suitable cooktop, remote control and monitoring, and remote diagnostics. Availability depends on Home Connect Services in the country.

How do I maintain the filters?

The metal grease filter is dishwasher-safe. The appliance provides a grease filter saturation indicator and an activated charcoal filter saturation indicator to signal when cleaning or replacement is required.
