How quiet is the AF210162 during normal operation?

In normal mode, the sound level ranges from 41 dB (minimum) to 57 dB (maximum). The hood features integrated sound insulation and a highly efficient, brushless DC motor to support especially quiet operation.

How is the steam screen operated and what is its function?

The steam screen extends by touching the handle bar and has an extension of 198 mm. The fan is automatically activated when the steam screen is extended. It features patented technology for extension and includes an integrated glass panel, contributing to the unobtrusive design.

What kind of lighting does the hood provide over the cooktop?

The hood uses neutral white LED lighting at 3500 K with a lamp output of 2 × 1.5 W and an illuminance of 294 lx. The light is continuously dimmable and can be switched on separately to provide ideal illumination of the whole cooktop.

How do I maintain the grease and charcoal filters?

The stainless steel grease filter is dishwasher–safe and a grease filter saturation indicator signals when cleaning is needed. For recirculation, the activated charcoal filter in the patented recirculation module can be changed from the front by pulling it out, with long replacement intervals.
