The cooktop operates with magnetic (induction) iron pots and pans only. For an optimal heat distribution, the use of sandwich bottom cookware is recommended. The wok pan WP 400 001 cannot be used with this appliance.

The flex function allows the rectangular cooking areas to be combined into a larger zone. Cookware can be positioned flexibly inside the combined areas, with automatic extension up to 30x30 cm on both sides, while maintaining the stated power and booster levels.

The professional cooking function enables the cooktop to be split into 3 predefined heat areas. This allows different temperature zones to be used on the same flex area for more controlled cooking.

The integrated WiFi module supports selected digital services via Home Connect, including cooktop-based ventilation control with a suitable hood, remote monitoring and remote diagnostics. Availability depends on Home Connect Services in the respective country and they are not available in every country.

Safety features include a main switch, operation indicator, pot detection, a 2 stage Hh residual heat indicator for each zone, a child lock and a safety shut-off, helping to support safe everyday use.

Optional accessories include the Flex pan set, 3 pcs (CA050300), Teppan Yaki (CA051301), magnetic knob, black (CA230100), Griddle Plate (CA052300) and Flex pan large (CA055300). Special accessories such as frying sensor pans in ø 20 cm, ø 24 cm and ø 28 cm are also available with specified part numbers.
