What type of cookware can I use on the CI292102 cooktop?

The cooktop operates with magnetic (induction) iron pots and pans only. For optimal heat distribution, the use of sandwich bottom cookware is recommended. The wok pan WP 400 001 cannot be used with this appliance.

How does the professional cooking function work?

The professional cooking function splits the cooktop into 3 predefined heat areas. This allows cookware to be moved between zones with different heat levels without changing the settings on the control.

What are the advantages of the flex induction cooking areas?

The flex function combines rectangular cooking areas so that cookware can be positioned flexibly inside the combined zones. This supports free positioning of pots and pans and makes it easier to use larger cookware.

Does the cooktop have WiFi and remote functions?

Yes. The CI292102 includes an integrated WiFi module for selected digital services (Home Connect), such as cooktop-based ventilation control with a suitable hood, remote monitoring and remote diagnostics, depending on the availability of Home Connect Services in the country.

What safety features are provided?

Safety features include a main switch, operation indicator, pot detection, 2 stage residual heat indicator (Hh) for each zone, child lock and safety shut-off.

In which worktops can this cooktop be installed?

Installation is possible in worktops made of stone, synthetics or solid wood, provided the cut edges are heat resistant and watertight. For other materials, the worktop manufacturer should be consulted. The appliance must be fixed from underneath.
