Can the CV492105 be used with air extraction and recirculation?

Yes. The appliance supports both air extraction and recirculation. For recirculation, it uses an integrated activated charcoal filter that is easily removable from above. Ducted and unducted recirculation kits are available as accessories.

How is the ventilation system controlled?

The ventilation is controlled via the control knobs with illuminated ring and offers 3 electronically controlled power levels and 1 intensive mode. It includes automatic sensor-controlled performance adjustment, automatic activation when a cooking zone is used, interval ventilation (6 min) and an automatic or manual run-on function.

What safety features does the CV492105 include?

Safety features include an operation indicator, pot detection, 2 stage Hh residual heat indicator for each zone, child lock, safety shut-off, detachable dishwasher-safe two-stage overflow protection and a removable 0.9-litre overflow container.

Is the cooktop compatible with Home Connect?

Yes. The appliance features an integrated WiFi module for selected digital services via Home Connect, including remote control and monitoring of ventilation, remote monitoring of cooking zones and remote diagnostics. Availability of Home Connect Services depends on the country.

What are the minimum installation requirements for the cabinet and worktop?

The bottom cabinet must be at least 60 cm wide. The worktop depth must be at least 60 cm for unducted recirculation and 65 cm for ducted recirculation or extraction. A continuous and even groove and sufficient bearing capacity and stability are required.
