Cookware and Operation

The appliance operates with magnetic (induction) iron pots and pans only. For an optimal heat distribution, the use of sandwich bottom cookware is recommended.

Installation Notes

• Bottom cabinet width minimum 60 cm.
• Worktop depth minimum 60 cm with unducted recirculation; minimum 65 cm with ducted recirculation or extraction.
• Immersion depth 227 mm.
• Unducted recirculation set CA082011 requires a vertical aperture of minimum 25 mm behind the furniture back panel; 50 mm suggested for ideal performance.
• In air extraction, a one-way flap with a maximum opening pressure of 65 Pa should be installed.
• Appliance must be fixed from underneath and must be freely accessible from below.
• Installation is possible in worktops made of stone, synthetics or solid wood; heat resistance and watertight sealing of cut edges must be observed. For other materials, consult the worktop manufacturer.
• Bearing capacity and stability, especially with thin worktops, must be supported with suitable substructures, taking into account appliance weight and additional loads.
• Groove must be continuous and even to ensure uniform placing of the appliance on the gasket; do not use discontinuous lining.
• Joint width may vary due to dimensional tolerances of the glass ceramic cooktop and worktop cut-out.
• When installing a ventilation hood with air extraction mode and a chimney-vented fireplace, the hood’s power supply line needs a suitable safety switch.
• The appliance’s air outlet on the backside can be directly accessed with a flat duct element (DN 150).
• Please check the user manual for how to switch off the WiFi module.
