Up to six items of cookware can be placed simultaneously on the single large cooking surface of 3200 cm².

What type of cookware is suitable for this induction cooktop?

The appliance operates with magnetic (induction) iron pots and pans only. For optimal heat distribution, the use of sandwich bottom cookware is recommended. The wok pan WP 400 001 cannot be used with this appliance.

Does the cooktop support Home Connect features?

The cooktop has an integrated WiFi module and supports selected digital services via Gaggenau Home Connect, including cooktop–based ventilation control with a suitable hood, remote monitoring and remote diagnostics. Availability of these services depends on the country.

What safety functions are included?

Safety features include a main switch, residual heat indication, child lock, safety shut–off and a pause function.

Can this cooktop be installed flush with the worktop?

Yes. The appliance is frameless for flush installation and offers Flush–Top Frame installation, creating a seamless transition between hob and worktop.
