Washing programmes and options

The dishwasher provides 6 programmes: Auto 35 °C – 45 °C, Auto 45 °C – 65 °C, Auto 65 °C – 75 °C, Eco 50 °C, Quick wash 45 °C (35 min.) and a Personalisation function (default setting: Pre-rinse). Three options are available: Intensive, Power and Half Load. Machine Care is also available. Flexible cycle time reduction can be applied, even during an active cycle.

Controls and indicators

A TFT display shows remaining or end time, refill for salt and rinsing agent, and inflow of water. Touch key operation allows programme selection, and an information key provides use indications. The appliance offers time delay up to 24 hours, a visual and acoustic end of programme indicator and remaining time projection onto the kitchen floor.

Interior layout and loading

The flexible basket system has smooth running rails on all levels. The upper basket offers over extension, an optional extra cleaning area via additional spray nozzles, Rackmatic with 3 levels (adjustable in height up to 5 cm), 6 folding spines and 4 folding racks for optimal glass protection. The lower basket features 8 folding spines, 2 folding racks for glass, a dividable glass support and a cutlery basket. Maximum dish sizes (upper/lower basket) are 27/25, 24.5/27.5 or 22/31 cm respectively.

Safety and care

Safety and performance are supported by glass protection with zeolite, aqua sensor, load sensor, automatic detergent function, regeneration electronics, heat exchanger, continuous flow heater, triple filter system (self-cleaning), soft lock and aqua stop. A Drying assistant enables optional door opening at the end of the programme. Machine Care is available for cleaning the appliance.

Planning and installation notes

Height-adjustable feet and rear feet adjustable at the front assist installation. The appliance requires an appliance plinth recess of 100 mm. To display the remaining time projection, a minimum plinth protrusion of 40 mm plus the thickness of the furniture front is required, and the maximum plinth height must be reduced by 30 mm for optimal projection. Door weight can be up to 8.5 kg, and the door panel dimension is dependent on the plinth height of the kitchen furniture. Installation and usage with a furniture handle is possible while the push-to-open function remains active.

Connectivity

Selected digital services via Gaggenau Home Connect include downloadable programmes, programme assistant, temporary noise reduction and software updates, supported by an integrated WiFi module. The availability of Home Connect functionality depends on the availability of Home Connect Services in the country. The user manual provides information on how to switch off the WiFi module.
