Washing programmes and options

The appliance offers 6 programmes: Auto 35 °C – 45 °C, Auto 45 °C – 65 °C, Auto 65 °C – 75 °C, Eco 50 °C, Quick wash 45 °C (35 minutes) and a Personalisation function with default setting Pre-rinse. Options include Intensive, Power, Half Load and Machine Care.

Handling and operation

Operation is via touch keys and a TFT display indicating remaining or end time, refill for salt and rinsing agent and inflow of water. A flexible cycle time reduction is available, even during an active cycle. The Personalisation function allows saving individual combinations of programmes, while a drying assistant provides optional door opening at the end of the programme.

An information key offers use indications, and the appliance includes a time delay of up to 24 hours, together with visual and acoustic end of programme indicators and a lateral Info-Light.

Interior layout and loading

The flexible basket system features smooth running rails on all levels. The upper basket includes over extension, an optional extra cleaning area by activating additional spray nozzles, Rackmatic with 3 levels adjustable up to 5 cm, 6 folding spines and 4 folding racks for optimal glass protection. The lower basket has 8 folding spines, 2 folding racks for glass protection, a dividable glass support and a cutlery basket.

Water management and safety

The dishwasher uses an aqua sensor and load sensor, automatic detergent function, regeneration electronics, a heat exchanger and continuous flow heater. A triple self-cleaning filter system, aqua stop and soft lock contribute to protection and safety.

Digital connectivity

An integrated WiFi module enables selected digital services (Gaggenau Home Connect), including downloadable programmes, a programme assistant, temporary noise reduction and software updates. The availability of these services depends on the availability of Home Connect Services in the respective country.

Planning and installation notes

Planning notes include height-adjustable feet, rear feet adjustable from the front and an appliance plinth recess of 100 mm. Door weight can be up to 11 kg and the door panel dimension depends on the plinth height of the kitchen furniture. Installation and usage with a furniture handle is possible while maintaining the push-to-open function.

Water connection uses a 3/4 ' screw joint and can be made to hot or cold water. Total connected load is 2.0 kW to 2.4 kW, with a plugable connecting cable. Power consumption in standby/network mode is 2 W, with auto-standby/network at 2 minutes and left-on-mode duration of 0 minutes. Instructions for switching off the WiFi module are provided in the user manual.
