Programmes and options

The dishwasher offers 8 programmes with aqua sensor: Auto 35 °C – 45 °C, Auto 45 °C – 65 °C, Auto 65 °C – 75 °C, Intensive 70 °C, Eco 50 °C, Night programme, Quick wash 45 °C (35 min.) and a personalisation function (default setting: Pre-rinse). Four options – Intensive Plus, Power, Half Load and Hygiene – can be selected, and Machine Care is also available. The Power option supports cleaning and drying dishes from 57 minutes.

Handling and controls

A TFT display indicates the remaining or end time, refill needs for salt and rinsing agent, and inflow of water. Touch key operation, an information key with use indications, flexible cycle time reduction (also during an active cycle), time delay up to 24 hours, and visual and acoustic end of programme indicators support straightforward operation. Remaining time is projected onto the kitchen floor for easy viewing.

Interior layout and glass care

The flexible basket system with smooth running rails on all levels and cushioned closing of the upper and lower basket is designed to handle dishes and glassware. The upper basket features over extension, 3-level Rackmatic height adjustment up to 5 cm, 6 folding spines, 4 folding racks for optimal glass protection and an optional extra cleaning area by activating additional spray nozzles. The lower basket includes a motorised spray arm, 8 folding spines, 2 folding racks for glass, a dividable glass support and a cutlery basket. Low temperature drying with zeolite, elaborated basket design and intelligent water softening support protection of sensitive glassware.

Digital services

Selected digital services via Gaggenau Home Connect include Programme Intelligent for adapting a cycle based on user feedback, a programme assistant, downloadable programmes, temporary noise reduction and software updates. An integrated WiFi module enables these digital services. The availability of the Home Connect functionality depends on the availability of Home Connect Services in the respective country.

Planning and installation notes

The appliance has height-adjustable feet, with rear feet adjustable from the front, and an appliance plinth recess of 100 mm. To display the remaining time projection optimally, a minimum plinth protrusion of 40 mm plus the thickness of the furniture front is required, and the maximum plinth height must be reduced by 30 mm. Door weight is up to 10 kg and the door panel dimension depends on plinth height of the kitchen furniture. Installation and usage are possible with a furniture handle; the push-to-open function remains active.

Connection information

The total connected load is 2000–2400 W, with a plugable connecting cable. Water connection uses a 3/4 ' screw joint, with connection to hot or cold water possible. Power consumption in standby/network mode is 2 W, and time to auto-standby/network is 2 min. Instructions for switching off the WiFi module are provided in the user manual.
