Handling and control

The appliance features opening assist for the door and a cushioned door closing system. User guidance is provided through light and display response to drawer interaction. A hidden touch display offers control, with automatic brightness adjustment based on ambient illumination.

Rest mode is certified by Star-K; when rest mode is active, the appliance can only be opened using a handle. Open-door and malfunction alarms are included.

Freezer interior and flexibility

Dynamic cold air distribution and automatic defrosting with defrost water evaporation support consistent performance. The drawers in the RVC and RVF models are positioned at the same height, so with side-by-side installation the glass shelves and door racks can be aligned on the same level. A hidden rail system allows flexible positioning of shelves and door racks.

Ice maker usage

The ice maker is hidden in one drawer to optimise usable space and operates with a fixed water connection. It can be switched off when not required. Ice cube production is approx. 2.4 kg per 24 h, with a removable ice storage container of approx. 3 kg capacity and an integrated, easily accessible ice cube scoop. A particle filter for the water inlet is integrated in the ventilation grille area, with saturation indicated in the touch display.

Planning and installation notes

• Flat hinge with left door hinge, reversible.
• Door opening angle of 115°, fixable at 90°.
• Maximum door panel weight: 39 kg.
• A shut-off valve for the water connection must be planned next to the appliance and always be accessible.
• If water pressure exceeds 0.8 MPa (8 bar), a pressure relief valve must be connected between the water tap and hose set.
