Handling and controls

The appliance is operated via electronic temperature control with a temperature display and touch keys. Fast cooling is available in the cooling section, and temperatures can be adjusted separately within the stated ranges for cooling, fresh cooling and freezing.

Cooling and fresh cooling

Cooling uses dynamic cold air distribution with automatic defrosting and defrost water evaporation. The refrigerator section includes split safety glass shelves with manual height adjustment, a full width drawer, 2 large bottle door racks and 4 additional door racks. Fresh cooling 0 °C drawers offer 5 preset temperature settings between −2 °C and +4 °C combined with humidity settings for fish and meat, fruit, vegetables, beverages and standard use.

Freezing and ice maker

The freezer compartment features no-frost technology with fast freezing, three fully extendable drawers and a 4-star rating. The integrated ice maker, located in the freezer compartment with a fixed inlet water connection, can be switched off as required. It produces approximately 1.5 kg of ice in 24 hours and includes a removable ice storage container with around 3 kg capacity.

Alarms, safety and operating modes

An open-door and malfunction alarm help users respond to operating issues promptly. A child lock is provided. The appliance includes a Rest mode certified by Star-K and a Holiday mode for alternative operating conditions.

Filtration and odour control

An activated charcoal filter is used in the water filter system, with a saturation indicator shown in the display. An activated charcoal air filter is also included. An optional accessory, RA450012 Water filter Vario 400, is available.

Lighting and connectivity

Glare-free LED lighting (5600 K) illuminates the interior, with 5 preset brightness settings controllable directly or via Home Connect. Selected digital services are supported through the integrated WiFi module, enabling remote control and monitoring, subject to the availability of Home Connect services in the relevant country.

Installation and planning notes

The door opening angle is 118° and can be fixed at 90°. A wall recess of 25 mm is necessary. To achieve the declared energy consumption, the attached spacers must be used, which increase the appliance depth by about 2.5 cm. Without spacers, the appliance is fully functional but consumes slightly more energy.

Water pressure must be between 2 and 8 bar. If the water pressure exceeds 0.8 MPa (8 bar), a pressure relief valve should be connected between the water tap and the hose set. The appliance is supplied with a 2.4 m connecting cable with plug and a 3.0 m supply hose with 3/4' connection.
