The cooktop is designed so the appliance can be snapped into the worktop from above. A minimum clearance of at least 150 mm from adjacent heat-sensitive furniture or contact surfaces must be observed, or thermal insulation fitted. The minimum distance between the cooktop surface and a cabinet above made of combustible material is 65 cm.

With a total connected load of more than 11 kW, local regulations concerning room ventilation, room size and the combination of extraction or recirculation hoods must be observed. The minimum distance to any ventilation above is specified in the planning hints for the respective ventilation product.

During use, control knobs with illuminated ring and the operation indicator support secure handling. The thermoelectric safety pilot and residual heat indication contribute to safe operation of the gas cooking zones.
