What type of cookware can I use on the VI482115?

The cooktop operates with magnetic (induction) iron pots and pans only. For optimal heat distribution, the use of sandwich bottom cookware is recommended.

Can I combine this cooktop with other appliances in the Vario 400 series?

Yes. The VI482115 can be combined perfectly with other Vario appliances of the 400 series. When combining several appliances, a suitable VA 420 connecting strip must be placed between them, depending on the type of installation.

Does the VI482115 support Home Connect and WiFi control?

The cooktop includes an integrated WiFi module for selected digital services (Home Connect), such as cooktop-based ventilation control, remote monitoring and remote diagnostics. Availability of Home Connect functionality depends on Home Connect Services in the specific country.

What safety features are included?

Safety features include an operation indicator, pot detection, a 2-stage Hh residual heat indicator for each zone and a safety shut-off function.

Is this cooktop suitable for flush installation in different worktop materials?

Installation is possible in worktops made of stone, synthetics or solid wood, provided heat resistance and watertight sealing of the cut edges are observed. For other materials, the worktop manufacturer should be consulted.

Can I use a wok pan with this appliance?

The wok pan WP 400 001 cannot be used with this appliance.
