What type of cookware can I use on the VI492115?

The cooktop operates with magnetic (induction) iron pots and pans only. For optimal heat distribution, sandwich bottom cookware is recommended.

Can this cooktop be installed flush with the worktop?

Yes, it is suitable for surface installation with a visible edge or for flush installation. For flush installation, it can be installed in worktops made of stone, synthetics or solid wood, observing heat resistance and watertight sealing of the cut edges.

Does the VI492115 support Home Connect?

The appliance has an integrated WiFi module for digital services (Home Connect), enabling cooktop-based ventilation control (with suitable hood), remote monitoring and remote diagnostics. Availability of Home Connect Services depends on the country.

What safety features are included?

Safety features include an operation indicator, pot detection, a 2 stage Hh residual heat indicator for each zone and a safety shut-off.

Is there a dedicated zone for large pots or a wok?

Yes, there is a large cooking zone for pots up to ø 32 cm that automatically adjusts between ø 21 cm, ø 26 cm and ø 32 cm. It is ideal for the original wok pan with round bottom when used with a wok ring.

The VI492115 is a 90 cm Vario Flex induction cooktop from the 400 series, designed for flexible cookware positioning and precise control. It features two flex induction areas, a large multi-size cooking zone for pots up to ø 32 cm and wok use, and a solid stainless steel control knob, also available in black robust finishing. With functions including flex, booster, frying sensor and selected digital services via Home Connect, it can be combined perfectly with other Vario appliances of the 400 series.
