The ZKes 453 uses an LC display in the interior with touch electronics to set and monitor the temperature and humidity. Temperature and humidity values are shown digitally, enabling precise adjustment within the specified ranges.

Air circulation cooling with fresh air supply via a FreshAir activated charcoal filter helps maintain internal conditions. The LED interior lighting can be switched on permanently and dimmed for presentation without opening the door.

Security features include an optical and acoustic alarm in the event of a fault, an acoustic door alarm, an integrated child lock and a mechanical lock on the unit. The fixed right-hand door hinge supports consistent placement planning.
