The machine can prepare ristretto, espresso, coffee, long coffee, cappuccino, cappuccino italiano, flat white, café au lait, caffè latte, caffè americano, long black, latte macchiato, hot milk, milk froth, warm water, hot water, various teas (black, herbal, fruit, green, white, Japanese, chai latte) and can operate in coffee pot and teapot modes. Many of these are available as single and double drinks.

Yes. The CVA 7440 offers selectable grinder settings and programmable amounts of coffee, water, milk and milk froth. Water temperature and pre-brewing are also programmable, and beverage portion sizes can be set between 20–300 ml.

Up to 10 programmable user profiles can be stored, allowing different users to save their preferred drink settings.
