The appliance offers OneTouch and OneTouch for Two preparation. Drink specialities listed include ristretto, espresso, coffee, long coffee, cappuccino, cappuccino italiano, latte macchiato, flat white, café au lait, caffè latte, caffè americano, caffè Americano, long black, hot milk, milk froth, espresso macchiato and chai latte, each in single and, where stated, double portions. It also has coffee pot and teapot functions.

Tea options include warm water, hot water, black tea, herbal tea, fruit tea, green tea, white tea and Japanese tea in single and, where stated, double portions.

Installation notes

The CVA 7845 is designed for installation in a built–in larder unit for appliances with fresh water connection. Installation drawings for CVA7000 indicate mains connection cable length of 2.000 mm, water inlet hose length of 2.000 mm, and an area with no connection, as well as front panel thickness references of 22 mm (glass) and 23.3 mm (Cleansteel).
