What is the benefit of the Flex Induction zones?

The two Flex zones allow cookware of any shape or size to be used anywhere within the 40 cm long zone. The hob can automatically join zones for large cookware and adapt settings when a pot is moved, providing flexible and efficient cooking.

Can I control or monitor the hob remotely?

With Home Connect and a connected account, you can monitor the hob via the app, check whether it is switched off when not at home, and access recipes and additional functions. Some features such as Favourite Button settings, Pan Boost, dish assistant and software updates also rely on Home Connect connectivity.

How does the hob help prevent food from burning?

The Extended Frying Sensor monitors the desired temperature to help prevent burning. In addition, 11 frying levels use automatic temperature regulation via an integrated sensor to help prevent overcooking.

What safety features are included?

Safety features include 2 stage residual heat indicators, a control panel lock, a pause function, a main switch to turn off all zones at once, and a safety cut-out facility that stops heating after a preset time if the hob is not used.

Is the hob compatible with a smart hood?

Yes, Hob Hood Control can automatically activate a Wi‑Fi enabled hood when cooking. Smart Hood Automatic can then adjust fan speed based on continuous cooking data when a matching hood and connected Home Connect account are used.
