Yes. The extraction system allows for ducted out installation or re–circulation. For re–circulation, compatible charcoal filters such as KITALLFC or KITFCKLTR can be used.

What are the extraction rates at different speeds?

Air flow is 194 m³/h at minimum speed, 315 m³/h at speed 2, 447 m³/h at speed 3 and 591 m³/h at intensive speed. The free outlet maximum capacity is 610 m³/h.

How loud is the KLT12L4X during operation?

The sound power emission is 51 dBA at minimum speed and 66 dBA at maximum speed, with 71 dBA at boost/intensive speed. Perimeter extraction panels also aid noise reduction.

What energy efficiency rating does this hood have?

The hood has an energy efficiency class B, with an annual efficiency consumption (AEChood) of 91 kWh/year. Fluid Dynamic Efficiency class is B and Lighting Efficiency class is also B.

How are the filters maintained and when should they be changed?

The hood uses aluminium anti–grease filters and offers a filter replacement indicator with warning lights to advise when filters need changing. Compatible charcoal filters KITALLFC and KITFCKLTR are dishwasher washable and can be dried in an oven following the specified temperature and time instructions.

The SMEG KLT12L4X is a 120 cm stainless steel ceiling cooker hood designed for ducted or re-circulation extraction. It features electronic touch controls, perimeter extraction and LED lighting with dimmer mode and adjustable colour temperature. With three speeds plus an intensive setting, 24 hour air filter function and Auto–Vent 2.0, it offers flexible performance. Aluminium anti-grease filters, a filter replacement indicator and remote control are also included.
