Continuous feed waste disposers from InSinkErator operate while the cold water tap runs and the wall switch is engaged, grinding food waste continuously as it is fed into the unit through the sink drain opening. This makes them practical for ongoing food preparation — peelings, scraps, and food waste can be disposed of continuously rather than in batches.

InSinkErator's continuous feed models range from the compact Evolution 100 for standard food waste volumes to the professional-grade Evolution 250 with a more powerful motor, greater grinding capacity, and quieter sound insulation. The grinding mechanism uses stainless steel impellers and a hardened steel ring to reduce food waste to particles fine enough to pass through standard drainage systems.
