Freestanding Dryers

Freestanding tumble dryers offer the same performance as their integrated counterparts but can be positioned anywhere with access to a power outlet — on top of a washing machine, in a utility cupboard, or freestanding in a garage. Heat-pump models are the current recommended choice for energy efficiency and fabric care.

A heat-pump dryer reuses hot air by passing it through a heat exchanger rather than expelling it, recovering energy and reducing running costs significantly compared to condenser or vented alternatives. The lower drying temperature is also gentler on fabrics. Most heat-pump dryers carry an A++ or A+++ energy rating and qualify for the highest marks in fabric care tests.
