A steam oven combined with microwave energy is one of the most versatile second-oven formats available. Microwave energy accelerates heating through the food mass; steam prevents drying and maintains the moisture and texture of the food surface. Together they reheat, defrost, and cook faster and more gently than any single-mode oven.
