To ensure proper cooling performance, energy efficiency and product lifespan, the minibar must be installed with adequate ventilation and on a stable, level surface.

• Place the minibar on a surface that is level in both directions.
• For furniture integration, leave at least 20 mm clearance between the back cooling unit and the furniture wall.
• Ventilation must follow a chimney-like airflow with the air inlet below the unit and the air outlet above; side ventilation must be avoided.
• For HiPro absorption minibars, free ventilation space for incoming air should be at least 150 cm², and for outgoing air at least 200 cm².
• Air passing through the ventilation duct must not be preheated by any source of heat.
• Ventilation grills, if used, should provide the minimum free opening areas specified for incoming and outgoing air.
• The outlet air vent must release warm air into free room space, not into an enclosed cupboard or ceiling void.
• Do not place the minibar in direct sunlight or next to a heating radiator, window or curtains.
• Never cover ventilation grills or slots; a free circulation of air around the cooling unit is essential.
• When building into furniture, the mains plug or socket must remain freely accessible once installed.

Correct ventilation prevents a build-up of hot air behind the minibar, maintains cooling capacity, limits energy consumption and supports the lifespan of the unit.
