What types of cooking does the DGC 7440 HCX Pro support?

It supports steam cooking, baking and roasting, with operating modes such as Fan plus, Conventional heat, Steam cooking, multiple combination cooking options with fan, conventional heat or grill, sous-vide, Intensive bake, several grill modes, Eco fan heat, Eco steam cooking, Defrost, Roast with moisture, Reheat, Plate warming, Automatic programmes and Special applications.

How is the oven cleaned?

The appliance uses the HydroClean system together with a dedicated cleaning agent, plus maintenance programmes such as soak, rinse and oven compartment drying. It has a stainless-steel oven compartment with linen structure, a hinged grill element, quick-release removable stainless-steel side racks, automatic descaling and a CleanGlass door to support easier cleaning.

Does it require a plumbed-in water connection?

No. The appliance uses a fresh water container with a volume of 1.4 l located behind the motorised control panel. DirectWater is stated as 'No'.

Can I use the oven on multiple levels at once?

Yes. Steam cooking is possible on up to 3 levels at the same time. The oven compartment has 3 numbered shelf levels and supports automatic menu cooking and menu cooking without transfer of taste.

Is the DGC 7440 HCX Pro network-enabled?

Yes. The appliance can be networked with Miele@home and has a specified power rating in networked standby mode of 2.0 W with automatic switch to networked standby after 20 minutes.

Which accessories are supplied with the oven?
