Comfort and control

Automatic Air Sensor provides automatic sensor-based performance control for best results. Extraction and lighting are automatically turned on and off by opening and closing the glass panel. Lighting can also be switched on and off when the panel is closed by a quick hand touch on the control panel. There are 3 power levels and 2 intensive settings, with automatic reset from intensive to normal after 6 minutes and automatic after running for 10 minutes.

Digital connectivity

• Home Connect allows operation, monitoring and setting of hood preferences via smartphone or tablet where the service is available.
• Hob-Hood control automatically activates the hood when cooking with a Wi-Fi enabled hob.
• Smart Automatic Air Sensor combines hob-provided cooking data with sensor-detected data when used with current N90/N70 induction hobs.
• Voice control is enabled via popular voice assistants where the service is available.
• Performance Profiles let you select standard, performance or silence modes via the Home Connect App.
• Favourite Button gives direct access to configured functions and can act as a smart home trigger with a connected account.
• Saturation indicator, set and reset functions for grease and odour filters, after-run function and interval function are available via the app.
• The appliance is updateable with a connected Home Connect account to keep software up to date and can integrate applications from external cooperation partners.

Extraction performance – exhaust mode

According to EN 61591 and EN/IEC 60704-2-13 in exhaust mode, the hood can achieve the following:

• Speed 1: extraction rate 241 m³/h; noise level 42 dB(A) re1pW.
• Speed 2: extraction rate 335 m³/h; noise level 50 dB(A) re1pW.
• Speed 3: extraction rate 427 m³/h; noise level 57 dB(A) re1pW.
• Intensive 1: extraction rate 693 m³/h; noise level 69 dB(A) re1pW.
• Intensive 2: extraction rate 851 m³/h; noise level 73 dB(A) re1pW.

Extraction performance – recirculation mode

For recirculation, the Long-life Clean Air recirculation kit is required. With this kit, the hood can achieve the following according to EN 61591 and EN/IEC 60704-2-13:

• Speed 1: extraction rate 231 m³/h; noise level 53 dB(A) re1pW.
• Speed 2: extraction rate 328 m³/h; noise level 61 dB(A) re1pW.
• Speed 3: extraction rate 414 m³/h; noise level 66 dB(A) re1pW.
• Intensive 1: extraction rate 584 m³/h; noise level 73 dB(A) re1pW.
• Intensive 2: extraction rate 656 m³/h; noise level 76 dB(A) re1pW.

The Long-life Clean Air odour filter absorbs intense odours, such as fish, as well as pollen, and its lifetime can be extended up to 4 times by refreshing the filter in the oven.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Easy-to-clean smooth surfaces and materials.
• Metal grease filters are dishwasher-safe.
• Coated surfaces reduce fingerprint sensitivity.
• Saturation indicator for grease filter; saturation indicator and reset for odour filter available via Home Connect App.

Planning and installation notes

The hood is designed for installation in an 80 cm cupboard using the IDH comfort installation system. Enclosed spacers allow installation in wall cupboards with a maximum depth of up to 360 mm. For higher wall cupboards, chimney extensions are available as optional accessories. Minimum distances above electric and gas hobs must be observed.
