Is this downdraft hood suitable for use with gas hobs?

No, combination with gas hobs is not possible. The hood is designed for use with appropriate electric hobs.

Can the hood be used in recirculation mode?

Yes, it is suitable for ducted extraction and recirculation. For recirculated extraction a Clean Air Plus recirculation kit is needed as an accessory.

How powerful is the extraction performance?

In ducted mode the extraction rate is up to 519 m³/h in normal use and 833 m³/h on intensive. With the Clean Air Plus recirculation kit it reaches up to 456 m³/h in normal use and 596 m³/h on intensive.

What kind of lighting does the hood provide?

The hood has an extendable clear glass panel with edge lighting and illuminated edges. It also offers Ambient light RGB with 25 million colour options for illumination of the cooktop.

Can I control the hood remotely?

Yes, remote monitoring and control are available for connected home appliances via smartphone or tablet in countries where Home Connect service is available. Voice control is also enabled via popular voice assistants where this service is offered.

How are the filters maintained?

The hood includes two washable stainless steel metal grease filter cassettes with saturation indicators. A filter service button automatically lifts the filters into service position for easy removal and cleaning.

The N 90 90 cm downdraft hood with Flex Design is a built–in glass draft hood that integrates behind the hob to create a single surface look. It uses Guided Air Technology and a climateControl Sensor for effective, fully automatic extraction.
