• When moving a pot on the Flex zone, settings adjust instantly and the cooking zone adapts to the size of the cookware.

Usage convenience and assistance

• Keep warm function via Home Connect app/MyButton keeps dishes warm at preset low power level.
• Switch-off timer can stop heating at the end of the set time (for example, for boiled eggs).
• Count-down timer can be used instead of switch-off timer, sounding an alarm at the end of the time (for example, for pasta).
• QuickStart automatically selects the zone with cookware when switching on.
• ReStart restores all previous settings if the hob is switched on again within 4 seconds after unintentional switch-off.

Connectivity and hood control

• Home Connect with Remote Monitoring allows checking whether the hob is switched off and offers recipes and additional functions.
• Hob Hood Control automatically activates a Wi‑Fi enabled hood when cooking.
• Smart Hood Automatic adjusts hood fan speed as the hob provides cooking data (with matching hood and connected Home Connect account).
• Via MyButton you can open up partner smart services from the cooktop.

Safety and controls

• Control panel lock helps prevent unintended activation of the hob.
• Pause function can temporarily pause the heating process, for example to answer the door.
• Main switch allows all cooking zones to be switched off at the touch of a button.
• Safety cut-out facility stops heating after a preset time if the hob is not used.

Installation notes

The hob is designed for built-in installation into a worktop with a minimum thickness of 16 mm. Required niche size is 51 x 880 x 490–500 mm. The worktop must withstand a load of approx. 90 kg.

Dimensioned drawings indicate that a ventilation gap must be present beneath the hob and that minimum clearances around and above the hob must be maintained. All measurements referenced are in millimetres.
