It uses an electronic control system with an LCD display that shows residual time, delay start, programme status, spin regulation and temperature regulation. Programme progress and end of cycle are indicated by lights on the display. Programmes are selected via a knob, with spin speed and temperature adjustable on the display or LEDs.
