It provides hot air with selectable humidity levels (100%, 80%, 60%, 30% and 0%), grill with circulated air, grill level 1 and level 2 with humidity, sous-vide cooking, low temperature cooking, dough proving, keeping warm, defrosting and regenerating, plus 200 automatic programmes with setting recommendations.

The oven uses external steam generation with two removable 1.7 litre water tanks for fresh and waste water. It features misting, automatic boiling point detection and a water level warning, and the tanks are dishwasher-safe.

Selected digital services via Gaggenau Home Connect allow remote control and monitoring, software updates, cooking time estimation when using the core temperature probe and door opening via a voice assistant.

Safety features include a child lock, electronic door lock, safety shut-off, a thermally insulated triple-glazed door and a cooled housing with temperature protection to help prevent overheating.

The appliance offers automatic cleaning for the cavity and automatic descaling for the steam generator. A drying programme and automatic cavity drying at the end of cooking help remove residual moisture, and removable parts and accessories are dishwasher-safe.
