It offers hot air with 0%, 30%, 60%, 80% or 100% humidity, grill with circulated air, grill level 1 and 2 with humidity, sous-vide cooking, low temperature cooking, dough proving, keeping warm, defrosting, regenerating and 200 automatic programmes with setting recommendations. Up to 30 favourites can be saved.

The oven uses external steam generation with fixed inlet and outlet water connections. It features automatic boiling point detection, misting, steam removal and automatic descaling for the steam generator. There is also automatic drying of the cavity at the end of cooking and a dedicated drying programme.

It has automatic cleaning designed for perfect results, including heavy soiling, plus automatic descaling of the steam generator and a drying programme. All removable parts and accessories, including the stainer filter, are dishwasher-safe. A cleaning cartridge is included, and descaling tablets (Part No. 17002490) are available as a special accessory.

The GS270130 includes a child lock, electronic door lock, safety shut-off, thermally insulated door with triple glazing and a cooled housing with temperature protection to help prevent accidental operation and overheating.

Selected digital services via Gaggenau Home Connect enable remote control and monitoring, software updates, cooking time estimation when using the core temperature probe and door opening via a compatible voice assistant.
