The cooker hood features an easy-to-clean canopy interior with Miele CleanCover, improving safety and simplifying cleaning.

Installation can be carried out in extraction or recirculation mode using the appropriate conversion kits (DUU 151, DUU 150). The extraction ducting connection is at the top with a 150 mm exhaust duct diameter.

The hood can be mounted in wall units, including 600 mm wide cabinets. If a partition wall is provided in the unit, it must be removable. The front section of the wall unit must be fitted with a base panel to secure the cooker hood. If the appliance is fitted further back, for example to accommodate a front panel, the shelf depth should be increased accordingly.

In extraction mode, the height of the wall unit and cut-out dimensions must take into account any accessories fitted, such as a silencer or recirculation hood conversion kit. In one installation situation, the deflector plate can be flush with the front edge of the housing unit carcase; if positioned further forward or back, the dimensions must be adapted.
