It features an LED strip for uniform lighting with 1 × 3 W LED output, a light intensity of 285 lx and a colour temperature of 3500 Kelvin, plus a dimmer function.

How efficient is the DAS 4940?

The hood uses two 10‑ply stainless steel grease filters that are dishwasher-safe. A grease filter saturation indicator shows when the filters need cleaning.

The DAS 4940 is a slimline cooker hood designed for installation in narrow wall units with EasySwitch controls. It features a transparent glass panel 90 cm wide and an LED strip for uniform lighting. With an A++ energy efficiency class, ECO motor and 10‑ply stainless steel grease filters, it offers efficient filtration in both extraction and recirculation modes using optional Active AirClean or Longlife AirClean filters.
