The DAS 4630 is designed for installation in a wall unit. The front section of the wall unit must be fitted with a base panel to secure the cooker hood. If the appliance is fitted further back, for example to accommodate a front panel, the shelf depth should be increased accordingly.

If a partition wall is provided in the unit, it must be removable. In extraction mode or recirculation mode with conversion kit DUU 150, the height of the wall unit and cut-out dimensions must take into account any accessories fitted, such as a silencer or recirculation hood conversion kit.

In one specified installation situation, the deflector plate is flush with the front edge of the housing unit carcase. If you wish to position the cooker hood further forward or further back, dimensions have to be adapted accordingly.

Minimum installation clearances are 450 mm above electric hobs and 650 mm above gas hobs (with a maximum total power of 12.6 kW and individual burner power ≤ 4.5 kW).
