How many cooking zones does the SMEG SIM3644D have?

The hob has a total of four induction cook zones. All four zones have booster capability, and there are two flexible MultiZone areas that can accommodate different pan sizes and configurations.

What are the power ratings of the cooking zones?

Each front and rear left and right zone is rated at 2.10 kW with booster at 2.50 kW and double booster at 3.00 kW, with dimensions of 21.8 x 18.0 cm. The left and right Multizone areas have booster power of 3.70 kW and measure 38.5 x 23.0 cm.

Does the hob include child safety features?

Yes. The hob includes a Control Lock / Child Safety function, protection against accidental start up, and automatic switch-off when overheat or overflow conditions are detected.

Can the maximum power consumption be limited?

Yes. The Limited Power Consumption Mode allows the maximum power absorption of the hob to be set between 2400 W and 7400 W in 100 W steps.

What installation cut-out is required?

The standard cut-out required for installation is 478–482 x 555–560 mm. The hob is designed for built-in use as an ultra-low profile or fully flushed unit.
