Yes. The integrated downdraft system is suitable for ducted or recirculated extraction with differentiated software modes. It supports unducted, partly and fully ducted recirculation, as well as ducted extraction. Accessories for unducted recirculation are included, and further kits are available for other installation types.

The appliance is suitable for installation into a 60 cm base cabinet. The required niche size is 223 × 750 × 490–500 mm, and the minimum worktop thickness is 16 mm for top-mounted and flush installations with the standard system.

The ventilation switches on automatically when a cooking zone is used. A sensor-based and cooktop-based algorithm then adjusts ventilation power fully automatically. Three sensitivity modes are available: low-noise oriented, balanced and performance-oriented. An automatic delayed shut-off continues ventilation for 12 minutes (ducted) or 30 minutes (recirculated) at an ultra low-noise level to remove residual odours.

The air intake unit can be removed with one hand via the floating glass ceramics handle. Inside, high-performance stainless-steel grease filters and the liquid collector parts are fully dishwasher safe and heat resistant. The system includes an upper 200 ml collector, a 700 ml liquid safety collector and a watertight blower system. Clean filter reminders support regular maintenance.

Safety features include 2-stage residual heat indicators, a control panel lock to prevent unintended activation, a pause function to temporarily halt heating, a main switch to turn off all zones at once and a safety cut out facility that stops heating after a preset time if not used.

In recirculation configuration, the hob uses 2 × 2 directly integrated Clean Air Plus odour filters. They offer optimised odour reduction, anti-pollen functionality and allergen deactivation. The stated lifetime is 360 hours of cooking, and replacement filters are available as set Z821VR0.
