The hood has three speeds controlled by buttons. The maximum free outlet capacity is 612 m³/h, with a maximum extraction rate of 581 m³/h and extraction rates of 241, 370 and 590 m³/h at speeds 1, 2 and 3 respectively.

What are the noise levels during operation?

Noise levels according to IEC 60704–2–13 are 46 dBA at speed 1, 56 dBA at speed 2 and 67 dBA at speed 3. The airborne acoustical A–weighted sound power emission ranges from 47 dBA at minimum speed to 68 dBA at maximum speed.

The SMEG KATE600EX is a 60 cm stainless steel T flat chimney cooker hood from the Universal aesthetics family. Designed for use with ducted extraction or re–circulation, it offers three button–controlled speeds and efficient LED lighting at 3500 K to illuminate the cooking area. With aluminium anti–grease filters, a non return valve and an energy efficiency class C rating, it provides effective kitchen ventilation and grease removal.
