Dedicated steam ovens cook food entirely with moist heat, without any fan oven function. Steaming at precise temperatures between 40°C and 100°C preserves vitamins, minerals, and the natural colour and texture of food more effectively than any dry-heat cooking method. Fish, vegetables, grains, and delicate proteins cooked in a steam oven retain qualities that conventional cooking destroys.
