Cooking and control functions

• Switch-off timer switches off a cooking zone at the end of the set time (e.g. for boiled eggs).
• Count-down timer sounds an alarm at the end of the set time (e.g. for pasta).
• quickStart function automatically selects the cooking zone with cookware when the hob is switched on.
• reStart function restores all previous settings if the hob is switched on again within 4 seconds after unintentional switch-off.
• quickStop allows quick switch-off of a cooking zone with one longer touch.

Ventilation functions

• Automatic switch-on of the ventilation system when a cooking zone is used.
• Automatic delayed shut-off after cooking in an ultra low-noise fan level (12 min for ducted extraction, 30 min for recirculated extraction), with manual shut-off possible.
• Fully manual fan control available via the touchControl user interface.
• High-performance, low-noise blower with BLDC technology, optimised psycho-acoustics and high pressure-drop resistance for longer and more complex ducting (up to 8 m with three 90° bows).
• For ducted extraction: integrated low-noise acoustic filters for significantly lower noise and improved psycho-acoustics.
• For recirculation: directly integrated Clean Air Plus odour filters with large surface and high odour reduction capabilities.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Grease filter and liquid collector unit can be removed conveniently with one hand using the floating glass-ceramic handle.
• Integrated stainless-steel grease filters with 12 filtration layers (plus black top layer) are fully dishwasher safe and heat resistant.
• Upper liquid collector unit holds 200 ml for standard spillages or condensate.
• Powerful drainage system manages spillages beyond 200 ml, directing liquid to the 700 ml safety collector.
• Lower liquid safety collector (700 ml) is dishwasher safe, easily accessible and detachable from below.
• Overall capturing capacity of liquids is 900 ml (200 ml + 700 ml); blower system is watertight.
• Clean filter reminders support timely maintenance of filters.

Clean Air Plus odour filters

• Optimised for cooking applications with complex odour molecules (e.g. fish).
• Anti-pollen functionality: retains a high amount of airborne pollen and deactivates retained allergens.
• Lifetime of 360 hours of cooking (non-regenerative).
• Low-noise design with optimised psycho-acoustics.
• Easy to access and remove from above.
• Replenishment filter set: HZ9VRCR0 (Clean Air Plus odour filter replacement also noted as HZ9VRCR1).

Safety features

• 2-stage residual heat indicators show hot and warm zones.
• Control panel lock helps prevent unintended activation of the hob.
• Main on/off switch allows all cooking zones to be switched off at the touch of a button.
• Automatic safety switch off stops heating after a preset time if not used.
• Compliance with Needle Flame Test (IEC 60695-11-5) and V2 flammability class (UL94).
• For ducted extraction with a chimney-vented fireplace, a suitable safety switch for the power supply line is required; not needed for recirculation configurations.
• In ducted extraction configuration, a one-way flap or backflow trap with maximum opening pressure of 65 Pa should be installed.

Installation notes

The appliance is suitable for ducted or recirculated extraction installations in four options: unducted, partly ducted recirculation, fully ducted recirculation or ducted extraction. Accessories for unducted recirculation, including four Clean Air Plus odour filters and a telescopic slider element, are included.

• Planning is possible for island or wall-oriented configurations.
• Suitable for worktop depths ≥60 cm (and ≥70 cm for certain accessory configurations).
• The appliance must be freely accessible from below to access the lower liquid safety collector.
• No false floor is required; drawers and shelves in the floor unit must be removable. Back panel can remain with a cut-out for the air outlet.
• For unducted recirculation, a vertical aperture of at least 25 mm behind the back panel is required; 50 mm is suggested for ideal performance.
• For partly ducted and unducted recirculation, ensure a return-flow aperture of ≥400 cm² in the plinth area (via outlet grids, lamella grids or shortened plinths).
• Air outlet on the backside can be connected directly with a male flat duct element (DN 150).
• Bearing capacity and stability of thin worktops must be supported with suitable substructures, considering the overall appliance weight and worktop specifications.
