Can this hob be used with both ducted and recirculation extraction?

Yes. The integrated ventilation system is suitable for ducted or recirculated extraction in four options: unducted, partly or fully ducted recirculation, and ducted extraction. Accessories for unducted recirculation are included, while other configurations require additional accessory kits.

What base cabinet and worktop are required for installation?

The hob is suitable for installation into a 60 cm base cabinet and is designed for stone, granitic or synthetic worktops. The minimum worktop thickness is 16 mm, and worktops must meet the required bearing capacity and stability, especially given the overall appliance weight.

How is cleaning of the downdraft system handled?

The grease filter and upper liquid collector unit can be removed one-handed via the glass ceramic handle. All parts of the unit, including stainless-steel grease filters and liquid collectors, are fully dishwasher safe and heat resistant. The system has a total liquid capturing capacity of 900 ml and a watertight blower.

Does the hob offer child safety or lock functions?

Yes. It includes a control panel lock to prevent unintended activation, a control panel pause to block touch inputs for 30 seconds while cleaning the surface, a main on/off switch and an automatic safety switch-off after a preset time.

What smart features are available with Home Connect?

Home Connect enables remote monitoring of the hob, including checking whether it is switched off when away from home. It also provides access to recipes, additional functions and notifications such as saturation indications for cleanAir odour filters, with convenient replenishment re-order options.

What is included with the hob at purchase?

The hob comes with a slider for unducted recirculation and a Clean Air Plus odour filter. Installation accessories for unducted recirculation, including four Clean Air Plus odour filters and a telescopic slider element, are integrated into the cooktop for easy, quick installation in suitable worktops.
