Can this hob be installed with both ducted and recirculated extraction?

Yes. The induction cooktop has a fully integrated downdraft extractor and is suitable for ducted or recirculated extraction configurations. It supports unducted, partly and fully ducted recirculation, as well as ducted extraction, with appropriate accessories.

What cabinet size and worktop depth are required?

The hob is suitable for installation into a 60 cm base cabinet. The required niche size is 223 × 750 × 490 mm (H × W × D). The included accessories for unducted recirculation allow planning in worktops with depths of at least 60 cm, and additional kits are available for worktops of 70 cm depth.

How does the automatic ventilation control work?

When a cooking zone is used, the ventilation switches on automatically. Sensors and cooktop data are used to adjust the fan power via an algorithm. You can choose between low-noise oriented, balanced or performance-oriented modes. After cooking, the system can run at ultra low-noise level for a delayed shut-off period to remove residual odours.

Are the filters and liquid collectors dishwasher safe?

Yes. The stainless-steel grease filters, the upper liquid collector (200 ml) and the lower liquid safety collector (700 ml) are fully dishwasher safe and heat resistant. They are designed for easy removal and cleaning.

What smart features are available with Home Connect?

With Home Connect, you can remotely monitor the hob, check whether it is switched off, and access recipes or additional functions via the app. The dish assistant helps you find suitable temperature settings for dishes, and the app provides notifications such as cleanAir filter saturation and convenient re-order options.

What safety features does this hob offer?

Safety functions include 2-stage residual heat indicators, control panel lock, control panel pause (blocking all touch buttons for 30 seconds), a main on/off switch and automatic safety switch-off if heating is not used for a preset time. The product and accessories also comply with specified flammability and needle flame tests.
