Yes. The integrated ventilation system is suitable for ducted or recirculated extraction in four different options: unducted, partly and fully ducted recirculation, or ducted extraction. Installation accessories for unducted recirculation, including Clean Air Plus odour filters and a telescopic slider element, are included. Other configurations can be realised using the recommended accessory kits and ducting components.

The two flexInduction zones allow you to use cookware of any shape or size anywhere within the 40 cm long zone. When large cookware is placed on the flex zone, the hob can automatically connect two cooking zones into one continuous zone. When you move a pot on the flex zone, the hob adjusts settings instantly and adapts to the size of the cookware.

The ventilation system can switch on automatically when a cooking zone is used. It then adjusts fan power levels based on sensor and cooktop data using an advanced algorithm. You can choose between three sensitivity modes (low-noise oriented, balanced, performance-oriented). After cooking, the system can run a delayed shut-off at an ultra low-noise level (12 minutes in ducted mode, 30 minutes in recirculated mode) and can also be controlled manually via the Dual lightSlider.

Safety features include 2-stage residual heat indicators for each cooking zone, a control panel lock to prevent unintended activation, a control panel pause function that blocks touch buttons for 30 seconds, a main on/off switch to turn off all zones, and automatic safety switch-off if the hob is not used for a preset time. The Energy Consumption Display also helps you monitor usage.

Included accessories are 1 x Slider for unducted recirculation and 1 x Clean Air Plus odour filter. A wide range of optional accessories is available, including wireless sensors, griddle plate, pans and pot sets, Teppan Yaki plate, exhaust and recirculation kits, ducting components, acoustics filter, replacement Clean Air Plus odour filter and a plinth diffusor, each identified by specific HZ accessory codes.

Yes. With Home Connect, you can enable remote monitoring via the Home Connect app. You can check whether the hob is switched off even when you are not at home and access recipes, the dish assistant and additional functions. Saturation indications for the Clean Air Plus odour filter and convenient replenishment re-order options are also available via the app.
